Conducted for the Capacity Enhancement Program at Philadelphia International Airport. Site investigation activities included Geophysical assessments (GPR, mag, EM), soil profiling with GeoProbe soil sampling and groundwater sampling from temporary wells. Chlorinated solvents, metals, PAHs, UST leaks/spills, and surface staining were investigation targets at this active facility. Collected soil and groundwater data required to receive a release of liability under Pennsylvania Act 2, although the site has not formally been submitted to the Act 2 program at the time of project completion. Demonstrated attainment of Act 2 Non-Residential Medium Specific Concentrations for soil and groundwater at the site. Responsible for Project Management, oversight of all Professional Geologists.
